University Geneva
The University of Geneva is a public research university located in Geneva, Switzerland, founded in 1559 by John Calvin as a law school of theological seminary. In the 17th Century, it became one of the most prestigious Enlightenment universities in Europe, and in 1873 became officially secular.

Today, it is the second most-populated university in Switzerland by number of students.
