Trutnov is a town in the northern Czech Republic, close to the Polish border in a valley of the Upa River.

It was founded as a Slavic village in the 12th Century.

Today, Trutnov is known for its historic buildings, agriculture, and modern street art - particularly the sweater-wearing leopard statues downtown.
