Bench in front of Taplow Court
Taplow is a small town in the county of Buckinghamshire in southern England, located on the River Thames 23 miles east of London.

It has been inhabited since at least the 7th Century, and Anglo-Saxon burial mounds have been uncovered here. Its first mention in history was in 1086 as "Thapeslau."

Today, it is known for its English countryside charm and large manor houses - particularly Cliveden House.
