Sofia is the capitol of Bulgaria, and its largest city. It is the 15th largest city in Europe.

Sofia was founded as a Thracian settlement, under the name "Serdica." It later fell under Macedonian and then Roman rule, which was when it flourished into a cultural, wealthy epicenter.

Today, Sofia is known for its architecture, beauty, and nightlife.
