Saginaw Street
Pontiac is a town in southeastern Michigan, considered a suburb of Detroit

The land was first settled in 1818. It officially became a village in 1837, the same year that Michigan became a state. The town was named in honor of Chief Pontiac, the Ottawa Native American chief.

Today, Pontiac is known for its small downtown area, abandoned or decrepit buildings, and prescence of General Motors and football.
