Larissa Panoramio
Larissa, sometimes spelled Larisa, is the capital and largest city in the region of Thessaly in western Greece, the main agricultural and transportation center of its region. 

An ancient Greek city, in mythology founded by the grandfather of Perseus, the city has been inhabited since approximately 500 BC. In ancient times, it was known for its fine horses.

Today, Larissa is noted for its history, ancient ruins, large size, and culture.
