|Full Name||Jean Rosemary Shrimpton|
|Birth Date||November 6, 1942|
|Born||High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, UK|
Shrimpton met Cy Endfield by change in 1959, at the age of 17. Endfield suggested that she attend a modeling course, which was what started Shrimpton's career. Within career, she was gracing the cover of magazines including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Vanity Fair.
Shrimpton and David Bailey had a close working relationship. Bailey's photographs were a large part of Shrimpton's rise to becoming a top model. Shrimpton often says that she owes Bailey her career, and he is often credited with discovering her. She was, in turn, his greatest muse, and his photographs of her helped his career immensely. Shrimpton first modelled for Bailey in 1960, and the two shortly afterward became lovers, though Bailey was married. They were in a relationship for four years, before seperating in 1964. However, the two have remained lifelong friends, and are still often photographed together.
Shrimpton dated Terence Stamp for a few years, from about 1964 - 1968. She and Stamp were an icon of London fashion society, and were the most photographed couple in the country for that period.
