Dornan is the cousin, twice removed, of Greer Garson.
Dornan was in a relationship with Keira Knightley for two years, from 2003 - 2005. At the time, Dornan was still an up-and-coming model, but Knightley had just burst into Hollywood stardom after the 2003 release of the first Pirates of the Caribbean film. This was Dornan's first experience with paparazzi, and their relationship was very public and "hounded."
Shortly after breaking up with Knightley, Dornan briefly dated Sienna Miller in 2006.
Dornan had a fling with Lindsay Lohan in 2006.
