Harry Styles: This is my true home, and I grew up here. My family moved here when I was just a baby, in 1994. I wasn't even a year old yet. I spent my childhood here. My mother divorced my father in 2001, when I was 7 years old, and later remarried. I went to school here and got my first job, at a local bakery. From an early age, I had always loved singing. I especially loved old-style type rockers, like The Beatles. I formed a band as a teenager called White Eskimo, and we won a local Battle of the Bands competition. I decided to audition as a singer on The X-Factor in 2010, when I was 16 years old. Following my skyrocket shoot to fame, I moved away from this small town. I still visit my parents often, but my luxury Audi stands out and calls much attention to me. Fan girls frequently swarm me when I try to visit my parents, or help my Mum take out the garbage.
