Old Town Hemel Hempstead
Hemel Hempstead is a large town in the county of Hertfordshire in central-southern England, located 24 miles northwest of London.

It was first settled in the 8th Century, and was recorded as "Hamelamestede" in the Domesday Book in 1086. It was officially made a town in 1539. The town of today was mainly developed ater World War II.

Today, Hemel Hempstead is known for its historic downtown area, modern buildings, and seperately planned districts with different designs.
