Giza is the third-largest city in Egypt, located on the Nile River about 12 miles outside of Cairo.

In Ancient Egyptian times, Giza was located just outside of the ancient capitol city of Memphis, and was used as "The Valley of Kings," where pharaohs and other royal family members were buried.

It is the site of some of the most incredible surviving monuments of the ancient world, including the Great Pyramids.
