Codogno is a town in the region of Lombardy in northern Italy.

It was originally a Roman town, then called "Cothoneum," around 20 AD. The city was first mentioned in history, however, in 997.

Today, Codogno is best known as a train station stop, as well as for its historic downtown area and architecture.
