Bliss Mill, built 1872
Chipping Norton is a town in the Cotswold Hills in the county of Oxfordshire in south-central England, located 18 miles northwest of Oxford.

There is evidence of a prehistoric civilization in the area, mainly in the Rollright Stones henge. The town itself began around the 11th Century, with the building of a parish church.

Today, the town is known for its historic buildings, and for raising costernation and scorn when it was voted amongst England's "crappiest" towns by The Guardian in 2011.
