Cabo San Lucas, often colloquailly known as Cabo, is a city in the state of Baja California Sur in northwestern Mexico, located on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula on the Pacific Ocean.

The area was originally inhabited by the native Pericu people, who called this location "Yenecamu." A European settlement was founded in approximately the mid to late 18th Century.

Today, Cabo San Lucas is known as one of the most luxurious and desirable vacation destinations in the Americas, notable for its beautiful beaches, luxury hotels and spas, scuba diving, maritime activities, sea arch rock formation, expensive villas, and marine life.

Cabo San Lucas in People's Lives

Adam Levine: This has always been a favorite vacation spot of mine. I vacationed here in 2013 with Nina Agdal, trying to get over a breakup with my ex Behati Prinsloo. It didn't work, and I ended up breaking things off with Nina and going back to Behati and proposing. I married her here in 2014, at a glamorous rock-and-roll wedding, where I performed a duet with guest singer Stevie Nicks.

Nina Agdal: I went on a romantic and sexy vacation here with Adam Levine in 2013, whom I had recently started dating. At the time, he was on a break from his ex-girlfriend Behati Prinsloo. While here, we played volleyball, dressed in coordinationg swimwear, and relaxed on the beach. We broke up shortly afterward. He would later get married here to Behati, only a year after.

Orlando Bloom: I traveled here in 2003 to film scenes of the movie Troy
