Alise-Sainte-Reine is a tiny village in the department of Cote-d'Or in northeast-central France. It is populated by less than 650 inhabitants. 

It was founded as a Roman settlement in 52 BC, then known as "Alesia." The town's current name is taken from this name and St. Regina, its patron saint.

Today, Alise-Sainte-Reine is known for its history, surrounding fields and farmlands, and small-town charm.
